By accessing or using Slate Booking (“the Platform”) at slatebooking.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users, including tattoo artists (“Artists”) and their clients (“Clients”).
Slate Booking is a scheduling and booking management platform that enables independent tattoo artists to receive booking requests, manage appointments, and communicate with clients. Slate Booking is not a tattoo studio, does not employ artists, and does not perform tattooing services.
Eligibility: Artists must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to perform tattooing services in their jurisdiction.
Account responsibility: You are responsible for all activity under your account. Keep your login credentials secure. Notify us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
Prohibited conduct: You may not use the Platform to engage in unlawful activity, harass clients, misrepresent your services, or violate any applicable law.
Clients submit booking requests through an Artist’s public page. A request is not a confirmed appointment - it becomes a confirmed booking only when the Artist approves it. Artists are solely responsible for their availability, pricing, services, and the quality of tattooing performed.
The Platform provides a digital consent and health questionnaire that Clients complete before a session. This consent is collected on behalf of the Artist. Slate Booking does not review or validate consent responses. Artists are responsible for reviewing consent forms and complying with all applicable health, safety, and licensing requirements in their jurisdiction.
Slate Booking does not currently process payments. Any financial transactions between Artists and Clients occur outside the Platform. Slate Booking is not responsible for payment disputes.
Cancellation and rescheduling policies are set by individual Artists. Clients agree to the Artist’s stated policy when submitting a booking request. Slate Booking is not responsible for enforcing financial penalties related to cancellations.
The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by Texas law, Slate Booking and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform, including lost profits, lost data, or bodily injury arising from tattooing services.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hector Gonzalez and Slate Booking from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your tattooing services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify Artists by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Program: If you provide your mobile number and opt in, JR HECTOR GONZALEZ (Slate Booking) may send recurring transactional text messages. Clients may receive booking-request confirmations, appointment scheduling and confirmations, reminders, and aftercare follow-ups. Artists and authorized studio staff who separately verify a mobile number may receive account-verification codes, new-request and schedule-change alerts, cancellation and reschedule alerts, and daily operations digests. The Slate Booking SMS program does not send marketing or promotional messages.
SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of submitting a booking request, using Slate, or making any purchase. Message frequency varies with appointment and account activity. Message and data rates may apply.
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any text at any time; you will receive one confirmation and no further messages. For help, reply HELP or email [email protected].
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. For details on how we handle the information you provide, see our Privacy Policy.
